Payment Policy
Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure all reservations for rafting, accommodation, or meals at the Cutting Board Restaurant. Payment can be accepted via credit card (Visa or Mastercard only) over the phone or through our online booking system.
All services of Kumsheen Raft Adventures Ltd. are subject to 5% GST. An additional 15% gratuity is automatically applied to all meals at the Cutting Board Restaurant.
Cancellation Policy
IF YOU NEED TO CANCEL/POSTPONE
Payments are fully refundable (minus a non-refundable $10 per person administrative fee) if reservations are cancelled verbally or in writing up to 7 days before activity date. No refunds or alternate dates will be given for any reason if cancelled within 7 days of your event. We regret that we cannot make exceptions for personal emergencies and recommend that Trip Cancellation Protection be purchased to protect your payments.

In the unlikely event that Kumsheen Raft Adventures Ltd. must cancel a scheduled trip due to insufficient bookings, high water levels, illness, unforeseen circumstances, or conditions beyond our control, alternate dates or credits will be given as preferred.

Booking Meals
We recommend booking meals at the Cutting Board Restaurant as far in advance as possible. There may be availability for occasional last-minute add-ons, however, this is not something that we are able to guarantee so it is recommended that all meals are booked in advance.
If the minimum booking requirements are not met for the Cutting Board Restaurant, meals may be served out of the Coffee Bar in the Reception Office.
Trip Cancellation Protection
Trip Cancellation Protection (TCP) must be purchased at the time of booking and is redeemable only in the event of illness, accident or bereavement. Kumsheen reserves the right to ask for proof.
Protection applies only to the person who is injured or ill and not to the rest of the party. TCP is $20 per person for single day rafting trips or any accommodation purchases, $40 for two day rafting packages, or $60 for three day packages. Please ensure you are adding the correct QTY for the number of people you would like the TCP to apply to in your booking.
TCP must be applied to your reservation at the time of your booking or a minimum of seven days prior to your activity date.
Wildfire & Natural Disasters
In the event of highway closures where detours deemed reasonable by Kumsheen Management to access Kumsheen are available, no refunds or reschedules are provided.
In the event of highway closures in which no detours deemed reasonable by Kumsheen Management are available to access Kumsheen, staff will contact any impacted bookings with alternate dates or credits.

Misc Policies
Pet / Excessive Cleaning Policy
We love seeing our four-legged friends at the resort and allow them to stay in accommodation for a charge of $10 per pet, per night. For the safety of our human and non-human guests, we ask that pets are not left unattended or allowed to roam the resort on their own. All pets must be leashed at all-times. Please note that an additional fee of $100 will be charged if any excessive clean up (pet or human) is necessary.
