Desert Getaway
Day One
Much more than just whitewater rafting, take in the scenery of stunning desert-like badlands with sagebrush, ponderosa pines, and prickly pear cactus as you float down the Upper Thompson River. This trip starts in the town of Ashcroft, ends in Spences Bridge, and goes through the 150 million year old Black Canyon with a powerful rapid in its gorge.
Day Two
Get excited about rafting through the rapids that made the Lower Thompson River famous. We’ll bus you back to Spences Bridge in the morning so you can start right where you left off the day before. Float through calm waters and easy rapids until you arrive at Shaw Springs, the half-way point on your trip to Lytton. After a tasty riverside lunch, you’re back on the river and ready for the thrilling 18 rapids of the Devil’s Gorge!
