Kumsheen River Guides share a love for safety, good work ethic, and fun times on the Thompson River. Our criteria for selecting guides is based as much on personality, amiability, and people skills as on whitewater skills and experience. We are always looking for bright and honest guides and trip leaders to work both full time and part-time.Interested in becoming a guide but have little or no experience? Our Raft Guide School is the perfect way to learn about guiding and earn your certificate of competency.

Maintenance Manager, Campground Manager, Campground Attendant
Campground staff are not only responsible for keeping the campground orderly and clean for all of our guests, but are also an ambassador for Kumsheen as a whole. Guest experiences are strongly influenced by the service they receive from our exceptional staff, and campground staff are often the first staff-member our guests meet. Campground positions require friendly and outgoing self-motivators who like working outside and meeting new people.

Our Housekeeping Department is responsible for maintaining the clean and professional appearance of the Kumsheen Resort. The Housekeeping department works very closely with the Office and Campground departments to ensure an orderly Resort and high health and safety standards for our guests, staff, and community. This department is great for organized, self-motivated individuals who enjoy working independently and outdoors.

Head Server/Front of House Manager, Server,Bartender/Cocktail Creator; Lead Cook/Kitchen Manager, Cook, Prep Cook, Dishwasher
The Kumsheen Cutting Board Restaurant seats over 100 guests between indoor dining and the outdoor patio. It is a full-service restaurant catering to both resort guests and the general public for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Restaurant Staff are responsible for all aspects of the Cutting Board Restaurant operation following direction of the Head Chef and Head Server. Front of House staff act as ambassadors of Kumsheen as a whole and strongly influence guest experience from the service and atmosphere of the restaurant.

Office Staff are the main point of contact for our guests, so a genuine desire to provide outstanding customer service and a pleasant atmosphere is essential. These team members work at the heart of all resort operations, ensuring clear communication to every department.
