Resort Stayovers

A big part of the Kumsheen experience is spending time at our beautiful resort before or after your rafting adventure.

Each person staying at the resort, whether in the campground, cabin tents or teepees, must choose a Stayover Package (unless it is included in your rafting package).  Pre-purchased meals do not include alcoholic beverages or gratuities.

ADD A CABIN TENT or TEEPEE $99 per night (sleeps 4 or 5) Ask for a family-friendly rate for children 9 years and under.

Cabin Tents

The resort has quaint white canvas cabin tents, fully furnished with antiques, historical memorabilia and two double beds (covered in cosy duvets), and built with wooden floors, decks and framed walls.  A propane lantern illuminates the interior with a warm, romantic glow after dark. Linen and towels are provided.

You must also reserve a Stayover Package when reserving your cabin tent (unless it is included in your tour package).

Teepees

North American First Nations People have been using teepees for thousands of years. Kumsheen takes the personality of Anishinabe-style teepees and furnishes them with the comforts of our cabin tents to make for a truly unforgettable experience. Linen and towels are provided.

The Campground

Friendly and family-oriented, our campground reflects our resort's amiable theme. A common campfire circle around which campers gather encourages meeting new friends. We expect responsible behavior from our guests, and for everyone's benefit our quiet time is 11:00pm (except Saturdays 12:00am). If our quiet time is not suitable for you or your group, we will gladly refer you to another campsite in the vicinity.

Our campground is very popular and reservations are required. Select the appropriate Stayover Package.

We have a limited number of RV sites with electrical hook-ups for an additional $6/ night.

Note: Trains are a fact of life in the Fraser Canyon and depending upon your point of view, they can be fascinating or frustrating. Come expecting to be fascinated.
