Getting to Kumsheen

It's easy to get here. We are conveniently located on Highway #1 (Trans Canada Highway) only 3 hours from Vancouver, or 2 hours from Kamloops.

If You're Driving

If you are coming from points west, be sure to stay on Highway #1. This means you take exit #170 off the freeway at Hope, B.C. and stay on Highway #1 east. At Lytton, stay on the highway and continue east 5 km until you see the Kumsheen Rafting Resort signs and our resort (on the left).

If you are coming from points east (Kelowna, Kamloops), take Highway #1 west. Look for the Kumsheen Rafting Resort signs on the highway as you near Lytton. We are on the right side of the highway and have large signs at the entrance to our resort.

If you would like more detailed directions try our route finder. Keep in mind that it will direct you to go into Lytton but we are actually 5 km east of Lytton.

Greyhound Bus

Twice a day a bus will bring you to our resort from points east or west. The schedule is quite convenient (departs Vancouver at 7:30 am and 5:45 pm daily) and if you talk nicely to the driver, he'll drop you off at our doorstep. The bus will also stop at our resort and pick you up for your return trip. Call Greyhound 1 (800) 661 8747 for precise times and costs.

Trip Rendezvous

The 3 Hour, 1 and 2 day Thompson River, and Adventure Packages depart from the Kumsheen Rafting Resort on Highway #1, 5 km northeast of Lytton. The 2 & 3 day Thompson/Fraser trips depart from Yale B.C. or from the Kumsheen Rafting Resort.

When you arrive at our resort, check-in the main office and let them know that you've arrived.
