The Sturgeon Fishing Experience

With a 100% catch success rate in the Lytton area and 98% tagging rate, you are sure to catch and tag Sturgeon on your adventure.

Kevin”s 22 foot custom welded aluminum jet boat has all the bells and whistles. With a heated covered cab you are sure to enjoy even the worse mother nature has to offer.

Enjoy BBQ meals, tunes, and the promise of a guaranteed fish. At least one per trip. We average between 5-20 fish per day in the area. These amazing long nosed white Sturgeon average in size between 5-6 feet!!

100% Catch & Release

Sturgeon are a protected species and all fishing is strictly on a catch and release basis. Once landed and photographed, the fish are gently released. 

Fishing Dates

July 15 through September 15, 2013. Early reservations are recommended.

Included in the Sturgeon Fishing & Whitewater Rafting Combo

Each day of fishing includes: 8 to 10 hours of guided fishing on the Fraser* (your choice upon booking); fishing tackle; overnight accommodation in a deluxe canvas cabin  (double occupancy); five meals; rain gear (seldom required in Lytton); shuttle from the resort to the river and return on both days.

* In a rare case that the water conditions are not concurrent with sturgeon fishing and safe jet boating, it is with guide discretion that the trip move down river to the Canyon section of the Lower Fraser.

Not included: taxes; alcoholic beverages; gratuities; shuttle to and from the airport* (Vancouver or Kelowna are equal distance from our resort – three hours driving time).

* pre-arranged airport pick-up available at extra cost from Abbotsford and Vancouver (based on availability)

Accommodation, Meals, Amenities

Packages include the world class amenities of the Kumsheen Rafting Resort.

As a guest of the Kumsheen Rafting Resort, you are entitled to use all of the amenities we offer. Accommodation is shared occupancy in one of our deluxe canvas cabins. Furnished with antiques and historical memorabilia, they are extremely popular with all our guests.

Breakfast and dinner are served in the Cutting Board Restaurant. Lunch is packed and provided on the river.

Payments and Cancellation Policy

A 50% deposit is required to confirm your booking. Balance is due 30 days before arrival. There are no cancellations or refunds after the 30 day deadline. Trip cancellation insurance is strongly recommended.
