Our very first advertised whitewater rafting trip on the Thompson River was eight miles long and cost a whopping $8.00. That was in 1973.
The first two-day whitewater rafting trip from Ashcroft to Lytton began in 1974 and included one night camping at Murray Creek Falls at Spences Bridge. This trip became so popular hundreds of enthusiasts arrived every weekend from as far away as Vancouver, Seattle, Edmonton and Calgary.
Today, instead of roughing it by camping out, on our overnighters we now shuttle you back to our resort after the first day on the river. You can sleep in luxury in a teepee or canvas cabin, and dine on exquisite cuisine in our own restaurant.
