Trip Videos and Photos
Our new videographers have been busy filming the on-river action with one hand while holding on tight with the other. Visit Kumsheen’s Youtube channel and take a sneak peak at some of the latest power and paddle rafting video highlights.
Same-day trip videos and photos are an excellent way to relive your whitewater adventure with friends and family. Order your very own trip DVD from the Kumsheen Office today.
Lytton River Festival Special
The Lytton River Festival is fast approaching and Kumsheen has a sweet deal in store for you. From September 5 until the 7th, rafting the Legendary Thompson for the day is ONLY $103 per person.
Highlights of the festival include improv comedy group Table 23, First Nations artisans, kite flying, fire dancers, BC Downriver Championships, fireworks at the confluence of the two rivers, Lytton street dancing parties, Two Rivers Farmers’ Market, Kayak Rodeo, Pow Wow Drummers & Dancers and a Toy Raft Race.
World Rivers Day Weekend
Sunday, September 27th is internationally-recognized World Rivers Day and to celebrate it you can join all of our guides and resort staff as they blast through the Devil’s Gorge on one of our power rafts, then slow down to clean up river garbage along the banks of the Thompson.
Add a paddle trip on the Legendary Thompson River the day before and pay only $99 for the whole weekend.
Kumsheen’s Green Practices
Kumsheen has been recycling for a decade and now we are taking even more responsibility for the environment. The newest eco-friendly practices come from your suggestions.
This season is the first season the restaurant and office provide biodegradable bags, cups and takeaway containers. For the full-day rafting luncheon at Nicomen, we now use regular plates and cutlery for groups that have less than forty people. And if you’ve noticed the solar blankets on the restaurant roof, those have been used for the past few years to warm the pool on cooler days.
We appreciate your suggestions and strive to improve the resort every year.
