Restaurant & Gazebo Open Daily

The Cutting Board Restaurant is now open daily: tempt yourself with this year’s new dinner menu.

Whether it’s for an invigorating breakfast, casual lunch or special dinner, enjoy the restaurant’s cosy décor, spectacular canyon views and cheerful staff.  The Cutting Board Restaurant offers a carefully chosen Okanagan wine list and a selection of meals, using local suppliers and garden-fresh ingredients, created by Chef Chris Finn.

The poolside Gazebo is also open daily; it features a nice selection of hot food and ice-cold beverages.

Watch Our YouTube Channel

We’re very excited to announce a Kumsheen channel on YouTube.  You’re invited to take a look at the newest uploaded videos.  Subscribe or tune in throughout the season, as we will soon be regularly broadcasting clips of both paddle and power rafting.  One of the first brand-new videos will highlight the Bike and Raft Tour, this year’s new adventure-filled day trip.

Staff Training and River Safety

Kumsheen’s staff continue to refresh and improve their skills through various in-house courses, including Wilderness First Aid, Swiftwater Rescue, and CPR.  Our raft guides also participate in River Safety Days to practice re-righting rafts, directing difficult situations, and doing on-river rescues.  All of this ongoing training strengthens the team for the season and ensures that our 36-year safety record remains impeccable.

Canada Day Family Special

Bring up your family to celebrate Canada Day and the end of school.  It’s the Family Big Day Getaway: check out the 2 for 1 youth fares for the week of June 30th to July 3rd.  The restaurant will be hosting a barbecue on Canada Day and we will also be celebrating the day with our first paddle rafting trip on the Legendary Thompson River.  It definitely feels like summer when the families come out and paddle rafting starts!

Enjoy soaking up the summer sun with your friends and family.
