Resort Opens May 1st - Daily Power Rafting Starts

The final days of preparation are here, and our crew is busy putting the finishing touches on the Resort, gardens, rafts & restaurant for the arrival of our first groups.  We officially open May 1st, when we will begin offering daily power rafting trips on the Legendary Thompson River.

This weekend we mark the first ever April partial-opening of the Resort with a wedding celebration. The saskatoon bushes are in full bloom for the wedding ceremony, which will be held at the Resort.  Some of the wedding party will be braving the rapids as well; with the warmer weather and spring freshet coming down the mountains, they'll be in for a pretty wet ride.

We also look forward to welcoming this year's Dry Grads in May and congratulate them in advance on graduating from high school.

May 23rd and 24th's "Raft & Camp Special"

Loyal Kumsheen guests will be able to raft the Legendary Thompson River for 15% off and camp for free* on the weekend of May 23rd & 24th.  In addition, Kumsheen will be donating $10 for each rafter to the St. Bartholomew's Auxiliary, which is fundraising for a Portable Ultrasound Unit in the local Health Centre.
