Exciting Employment Available

Interested in employment at Kumsheen Rafting Resort?
If you've got the right stuff, including that extra something that makes you a vigorous, knowledgeable, cheerful, fun person to be with, we'd like to hear from you.  Kumsheen is presently looking to fill positions on the river, in the office honeycomb, and in the Cutting Board Restaurant.

Generally work begins just before May 1st when the resort opens for the season and ends in September after the Labour Day Weekend. Email a cover letter and resume directly to employment@kumsheen.com if you are interested in becoming a Kumsheen team member.

Kamloops Blazers Game

The WHL hockey season is in full swing for the Kamloops Blazers. Kumsheen is a proud game-night sponsor for the Blazers and will be attending Wednesday March 11th's game vs. the Vancouver Giants. We'll be providing the contest & entertainment for the second intermission and if it’s anything like last year, it will be full of crazy antics involving the fans rafting on ice with inflatable toys. Come say hi to the Kumsheen crew if you happen to be in the stadium for the hockey game. We'd love to see you.

July is all about Family

Training to re-right rafts

Kumsheen will host a family vacation or teen camp every week in July this season. This year marks the first-ever "Raft Guide" Teen camp. This camp introduces the skills and techniques needed to become a raft guide, and offers both adventure and education with experienced, certified raft guides who are thrilled to pass on some of their knowledge. We developed the "Raft Guide" Teen Camp specifically for teenagers who are curious about employment in the rafting industry.
