Winter has arrived

The weather seemed pretty normal as Fall breezes cooled the air and winter was upon us but no one was quite prepared for this snowfall. Lytton and the Kumsheen Resort woke up on the morning of December 4th with a whole lot of shoveling to do!

Almost 3 feet of fresh powdery snow covering the benches, pool, hot tub, trucks and trailers. They even had to close the Trans Canada Highway from both directions for a couple of days. The wood stove in the office was put to good use and it was a chance for the elves to put up some Christmas lights, other decorations and bake some cookies to celebrate.

Gift Certificates still available

Not to worry if you still haven’t figured out what to get someone for the holidays. Our gift certificates are still available for purchase and delivery if you get your order in by next Friday, December 17th.

The most popular gift package is the Legendary Thompson with a stayover which includes rafting, dinner, overnight stayover, breakfast, and facility use. If you really want to pamper someone, order the stayover with a deluxe cabin tent or teepee option (shown in the photo to the left).
