Lytton River Festival

The third annual Lytton River Festival happens in a few weeks, September 2nd, 3rd & 4th to be exact (Labour Day Weekend).

As the Event Coordinator, I'm excited about the great new program our committee has put together for 2006. Kumsheen is a major sponsor of this Event.

If you are looking for a unique way to celebrate Labour Day, come on up to Lytton for the Festival. The Kumsheen Resort has two specials: $99 rafting on Saturday, Sunday, or Monday and a Stayover Fee of only $10 a night.

We don't have a lot of space left at the resort so you should book early if you plan to stay with us (hopefully you will).

Click on www.riverfestival.ca for a list of Events and other information.

Kumsheen's 9th Annual Christian Music & Rafting Festival
September 15 to 17

Feeling Alive! features several great Christian bands Friday and Saturday night, one day rafting, volleyball, disc golf, swimming and a worship service Sunday morning! 5 meals and campground accommodation included. Special rate of $169 per person!

This year we have a great performance lineup including: Juno award winner Greg Sczebel, Tuesday Evening, Kyra and Hasting Band.

Thompson & Fraser's Best Whitewater

Friday September 8 to Sunday September 10.

This is a great way to officially end summer.

Bring a friend or family member and share the savings! Thrill to a two-day Big Water Excursion. First person pays regular adult fare and the second person pays half price (adult fares).

A fall trip down the Thompson and on through the Fraser and Hell's Gate is a great way to see the salmon, fall colours, and enjoy the best of both rivers.

Enjoy what's left of summer!
